Hi all..

Wanted to step out an introduce myself and share a funny story. I have been on a MacBook since December, and enjoy it maybe a bit TOO much. I participate in other forums, generally Audio-Video forums, which shall remain nameless at this point. Their was a moderator who would regualrly post Windows and more recently OSX security flaws and updates, and I made the mistake of listing my uptime and mentioning that the latest update took all of 25 seconds to dowload and install, which was not a big deal in light of all the issues PC's experience. He was not impressed.

Well, that didnt go over so good, they banned me. Guess I didnt need em anyways. What really chaps my ass is that I was a site sponser, productive, and always helpful to the noob. Audio is hobby I love, but I am a geek at heart. So here I am.

Mmm, that's a strange thing to be banned for. :( A protracted flamewar about uptime and related issues, yes, I could see, but a single comment seems odd. In any event, welcome to MR. :)

I do belive we have an audio section and plenty more:)


Also you cant get an avatar until you have at least 500 posts, and you cant start a thread in the marketplace or politcs section until you have 100 posts.
Just to clear up a few things becuase many new people start threads about why they cant *yatayata*

WOW a politics section?? That would be heresy at my old hang out. I will check out the threads mentioned, and its great you have an Audio section too. Hopefully its not all Ipods and Idocks... there is so much more to life!:p

We have a separate sub forum for those silly iPods :D
 
Wow, that has to be the strangest ban i have ever heard of... but from the sound of it their lost
