I have two files which I can't remove by the wriggly icon procedure.

They are called HelloJava & HelloScript.

I think they came with cydia.

Anyone know how to remove them?

JH

If you got them from Cydia, they have to be removed from Cydia.

Open Cydia. Tap "manage" icon in the bottom bar. Tap "packages." Find apps you want to uninstall. Tap. Tap "modify." Tap "remove."

The Cydia I have does not have a Manage tab at the bottom.

The newest version has changed I think.

Any suggestion?

In Installed, it shows the things that are installed but no apps.

Just things like: Activator, Cydget, Big Boss Icon Set, AppSync for 4.0+ etc...

Download CyDelete on Cydia and you can delete anything direct from the iPad or iPhone but be careful not to delete Cydia itself or your in a heap of trouble.

Well, those things (Activator, Cydget, etc) are all apps.

Do you see anything that includes the word "java" or "script"?

No, couldn't find anything even with a search.

I'll try the other suggestion for the delete app.

Thanks.
