Unless you are limited to one of those two (and supposing you also are REQUIRED to use one of them, because of your occupation), you would notice that either one needs to be purchased.
One shouldn't need to waste money purchasing that type of product.
"Free" is all you should pay for malware protection for OS X.

The mentioned "ClamXav" should be OK...
 
Macs are not immune to malware, but no true viruses exist in the wild that can run on Mac OS X, and there never have been any since it was released over 12 years ago. The only malware in the wild that can affect Mac OS X is a handful of trojans, which can be easily avoided by practicing safe computing (see below). 3rd party antivirus apps are not necessary to keep a Mac malware-free, as long as a user practices safe computing, as described in the following link.

As Weaselboy said, ClamXAV is a good choice since it doesn't run with elevated privileges, isn't a resource hog, can be used to scan for Windows and Mac malware, and it's free.

Just to suggest that English is an acceptable alternative to...well...whatever.:rolleyes:

Another vote for ClamXav...does the job without unnecessary resource use...ah...dawg.
