Help 10.6.8

Just loaded 10.6.8 on to my iMac and I keep getting a blue screen, similar to screen of death telling me to hold town the power button to reset my iMac then the power button to start it up again, I've done this twice now and still get the same message!!!! HELP HELP!!!

Before you go through the steps in this article, do you by chance have Hands Off! installed? If so, these steps may be relevant instead.

I experienced the same thing. It's an unrecoverable kernel panic. First 10.6.7 removed an audio output from my sound preferences then 10.6.8 triggered this kernel panic. After an hour at the genius bar I was told I needed a new logic board. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with either update?

thanks @jedimeister, thats exactly what happened, i had handsOff! installed, so i rebooted in safe mode, uninstalled it, and then rebooted! all fine!!
