So of course I’m struggling with the above. I had a x then went with the 10x max (gave my wife the X) and now its time to get my daughter a phone. Of course she doesn’t get the newest one... she gets the x the wife gets the Xmax and i get the new one ha! I am just having a hard time deciding on if I want to go back to the smaller version or not. The x was originally mine then had to have the max and am finding myself thinking I’d like the smaller form factor again. All help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry if this has been asked 1 million times)

It’s really down to size. Both have excellent battery and otherwise identical specs. (The regular 11 Pro is a battery champion, the 11 Pro Max is even better...but both are amazing for battery and huge upgrades over their predecessors)

If you consume more media, (more videos, more Netflix, youtube or reading before sleep for example) go with the Max

If you use it more as a phone and are on the go more, favour one handed use, Lighter weight, go with the regular model

Would you prefer bigger screen for media consumption? Bigger screen for apps?

Or would you want a smaller phone that can handle everything you want with a smaller screen?

I'd love to pick for you but in the end you have to live with the device you choose. Not me. You will get multiple suggestions that will make it even harder to choose. Pick what you like.
