I have a 2019 13" Touchbar MacBook Pro, 1.4GHz quad-core, 16GB RAM. When I plug in the USB-C adapter, it makes a noice indicating it is receiving power. However, it will not turn on. Symptoms and troubleshooting steps are as follows:
  1. The touchbar does not power on at all
  2. The screen does not power on at all
  3. The backlight on the keyboard does not come on
  4. There is no external video output over either Thunderbolt port
  5. Reset the SMC, power cycled the device while holding power for 10 seconds, swapping ports for power, etc

  6. No liquid, drops, or other disturbance
  7. Sits on an elevated laptop stand on a desk, so airflow should not be an issue
Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Thank you in advance!
