Help!! 14 inch iBook + Superdrive or 12 inch Powerbook Combo?

Powerbook. Unless the specs on the iBook are higher, but most likely not. The iBook 14 inch has the same resolution as the 12 inch. The Powerbook would be a better buy if you want more portability as it's smaller.
Most people will tell you to buy the 12" Powerbook, but it comes down to what you want. I bought a 14" iBook even though I could have bought a 12" Powerbook because the screen is bigger and more comfortable for me to look at (even though the resolution is the same). Portability is not a problem even though it's 14". If you plan on using an external display, you might want a Powerbook. But if you are interested in just using the laptop itself for everyday purposes, I'll say the iBook does a fantastic job at that.
