My hard drive recently died and I decided to just replace it myself rather than pay someone else to do it. I followed the instructions for replacing the hard drive on pbfixit.com. I had no trouble except I can't get the latch between the upper and lower case that is right above the optical drive undone.
Has anyone successfully replaced the hard drive in this model PB? Do you have any advice about how to get this latch undone? I really don't want to have to pay someone to replace the hard drive. Thanks.
