 Is my battery life normal? I used to have 7 to 5hrs of battery life when my MBP was just merely 2 weeks old. My MBP will be a month old tomorrow, and my battery life is a total fail! What should I do? :(

Your battery is not charged.

You should charge your battery.

You battery is not even fully charged.
Have you calibrated it yet?

Also have a look at Activity Monitor (Applications / Utilities /) and select All Processes and sort by CPU to see what the culprit may be.

Yup, I did. But not on my first 2 weeks. :(
My charging time is even longer than my battery life!

plug it in the charger and wait till tis fully charged, are you that inpatient?

Well, I just did, 2 hrs ago. But it got drained. And Now, I'm charging it again. Its only a month old but my battery only lasts for 2hrs.

You need to follow the links provided by simsaladimbamba and follow the instructions therein.

If that doesn't work, take it in to Apple.

Thanks!

You have a problem with Parallels probably, since your dock is using 100% CPU, which also explains low battery life.

Try this (found it on the internet):

1. Right klick on Paralells Icon / Configure
2. Select Tab Options
3. go to Application
4. DeSelect "Show Windows Folder in Dock"

Charge it all the way, then let it die out. If that doesn't solve it, set up a reservation with the genius bar at an apple store near you (http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/).

If you don't live near an apple store, call Apple Technical support.

Must be blind, and as the below poster mentioned, you have a problem with Parallels (often documented here).

Mac Dock consuming 100% of CPU core after upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6.8

Problem SOLVED! :D Thanks you guys! :) It was my Parallels that was consuming my battery life! Anyhoo, thanks for all you comments and links! Thanks everyone! Special thanks to Simsaladimbamba and Mdnz. :apple:
