Help!!! (24 inch imac froze)

My 24 inch imac froze today. I put a CD in to burn and it shut down and started to re boot but it froze in the start up. I can not get it to un freeze! what do I do please Help!!!!

Where exactly does it freeze? If it lasts until the Apple logo shows up, you should be able to boot from the OSX cd's.

Does it turn on at all? Do you just see the Apple logo and the spinning wheel?
