help 2g stuck on boot logo screen!!

hey people im new to this site i signed up today and im looking for some help on my iphone 2g its stuck on boot logo and yes ive tried restoring it many times it doesent go anywhere if u have any help please let me know il be online most of the time to answer comments and all that let me know please! thanks!

Have you tried to restore it in DFU mode?

if ure talking about the point where it shows a cble and a itunes sign then yes

hold down the home button and lock button together for a few seconds. should then come up with connect to itunes....youll need to do a restore

btw is it jailbroken?
