Help!! about Kingston Value Ram for macbook

I just bought a new intel macbook,i don really know a lot of things about computers so i didn't notice when i bought it. the shop gave me a pair of kingston value of 1gb each, he claim that it's apple original ram.but after i look on the net i found out that there;r some cases about mac burnt cuz of using kingston value ram.i really worry whether it'll void the warranty if i'm using value ram?!?!

Think I have a stick of that in my macbook now. Its been running fine now for 6+ months.

Don't worry. Adding ram to your machine will not void the warranty. I'm about to add a 1 gig ValueRam stick to my sis's mac mini for Christmas and I have no worries. ValueRam from Kinsington has a lifetime warranty. So be cool, man!
