It's called "ea" located the main place which also contains "System"
I deleted it and my phone boots into safe mode ):

Would somebody be nice enough to send me this file??

I have just SSH'd into my phone and its an empty folder. Doubt it is causing you to load in safe mode if nothing is in there, however you may have something enabled I dont which created a file there.

Just try create a folder called ea

group and owner is the mobile account and CHMOD 0755

If you're referring to the /var/ea/ on my iphone all it is, is an empty folder.

Have you tried just making a new folder, or are you sure it's that causing the problem?

Yeah, I knew it was an empty folder and deleted it.. before I did anything else, I went into cydia for some reason and I had an update which turned out required a reboot.. I was using iFile, not SSH btw

I figured I could just make a new folder, but I guess it has certain properties which I have no clue what it was at.. Couldn't find anything anywhere ):

Edit: It's not /var/ea, it was just /ea (folder before /var)

Well the only folder properties you need if in my post. Hope it works for you but I'm guessing there is something else wrong to be honest.

Just add the folder. There's no special permissions or properties as far as I can tell. THEN delete the app that required the update. It's more likely it was the update that is the problem, not the folder.

Ugh was hoping it wasn't ha.

Think someone with iOS4 could email me mobilesafari.app?

I surprised you are having this issue. I deleted like 400+ system folders and my iPhone works way better. Furthermore, who really needs MobileSafari, phone app, SMS, and the itunes app? Pure luxuries if you ask me. Freak'n delete those suckers!
