My Macbook HD died :(, luckily I have everything backed up. No mayor loses. Now, I need a new one but I'm clueless in what to get.
My Macbook model is 13-inch, Early 2008, Generation 5, MB402xx/A
The HD that died is a Fujistsu SATA 250GB (that's all I know)

It would be OK to replace it with this one???

Any better ideas (my budget allows me a max of $75).
I would appreciate help with this
Thanks

If you don't need that much harddrive space (or could use a external drive) you should try using a ssd...you would be blown away at how fast your macbook would feel...it's like night and day difference.

Newegg has the samsung 840 for $109 but have seen on sale other places for $99. The Samsung drives are very good (note: the 840 should not be confused with the 840 pro...but still a very good drive with good review specs)
