Help after so 6 install please; Sim issue

I loaded 6 onto my 4s (without a Sim in it). When I put the Sim in and try to activate, it tells me there is no Sim, put a Sim in to activate. Any help please? Also, is it possible to activate with no Sim?

I had pulled it out of the phone and forgotten (it's an extra phone).

I just installed my iOS6 beta and it did not activate, it did not get past the activation state because apparently iOSactivator's site did not activate my UDID in the Apple servers. Now I emailed them as to what happened after I paid and hopefully I'll get past that stage (I'll make sure my SIM remains inside)...

please keep posted as to what happens.
