help! Airtunes cutting in and out. Party in an hour!

I just recently connected my express to my airport extreme so that I could have video chat going on in another room and using airtunes at the same time. Problem is...the airtunes keeps cutting in and out! Its friggin annoying and I have no idea why its doing this.

One small issue. I know there is a firmware update (6.2.0, I think), but I'm having trouble finding my airport password (bout to go check the keychain). Do you think its the update thats causing the problem, or something different?

you're not just overloading it? does the music still cut out when you're not running video chat at the same time?

where do you have it plugged in. If you have the airport express jammed into a power strip behind the entertainment center, that can have a really negative effect on it's output. If so, get a short cheap extension cord and get the thing out into the open to cut down on interference.

i had this problem too, but it produced enough interference to get espn radio.... shrug
