Help! Anyone else in this situation?

I used my uprgrade on 8/25. I went into ATT store on the 17th within my 30 days and pre ordered a 16GB WHT Iphone 5. I had to pay for the phone that day and was told I can use my current phone until the Iphone gets shipped to the store. I did receive a confirmation E-mail but the confirm # is not showing up as valid. Even when I go to myatt and look under my orders its not there. I called the store and they say that the order is active in there system but dont know why I cant see a status?
