Help ASAP...Project Due by Noon!!

I was helping my brother do a Video essay in iMovie and he needs to upload it to youtube. After uploading it shows 0:00 and no movie. I tried to change the file extension to .avi but then in youtube I select choose file and it has the media/audio broken up into different files. I tried just the timeline which is .mov which youtube says it supports and same thing no movie. I even opened handbrake to see if I could change it to anything else...nothing.

Please help the video has to be uploaded to youtube by 12:00pm today!!

Are you exporting from iMovie or simply renaming the project file?
