Ok just updated to 6.1.2 and re-jailbroke no prob. Came to installing my apps and first up was springtomize2. This is were the problem is I had all my icons hidden in springtomize2 and accessed them via activator now it seems to have remembered I had hidden the icons and has re-hidden them but unfortunately I have not installed activator yet. So I cant see my icons to run them this inc cydia so am stuck. Someone please help don't want to have to restore again if I can help it. Spotlight is hidden as well :(

Settings app?

What he is saying is that the only thing that Springtomize hides is the actual icon of the app. If it has a settings tie-in, that doesn't get hidden.

You should be able to unhide them in Springtomize from Settings. Then respring.

Go into Settings and scroll all the way down. You should see Springtomize there.

Safe mode?

Reboot your phone while holding the volume up key.

Thank you both.

Safe mode allowed me to run cydia. Thought i would just download activator and all would be well but unfortunately while springtomize2 remembered I had hidden my apps activator didnt remember the menu item I set up or the keystroke for activating it  Anyway removed springtomize2 and will set up activator before I re-download.

Again thank you both for your help

Try to double click the home button to bring up recently used apps and this may allow you to access your needed apps

Doesn't work after a respring. OP was installing springtomize when this happened, so he would have resprung.

LOL. I learned this lesson very early in my foray into jailbreaking -- NEVER HIDE SETTINGS. Also a good idea not to hide Cydia, either. ;)

Well I can see the wisdom in your words now but I do really like the minimalistic approach of no icons and no dock. I may regret this again soon but theres always this forum to get me out of trouble :D

And of course springtomize hides apps in the app switcher too

Any way the safe mode tip did it and were all hunky dory once more :)
