Help!!! (Asks for password when installing drivers)

im trying to install drivers for my pcmcia card and its asking for a password ... but i bought this computer off ebay and have no clue what the password would be. how do i fix this? i called the number that was listed in the address book but it was d/c what do i do?

Do you have the install discs?

If you do pop it in, boot from the DVD and then go up to the menu and you can change the password from there.

Btw, always format your computer if you buy it second hand. You never know if the previous owner installed some malicious software on it. e.g. Keylogger etc.

You want to do an Erase and Install.
