Ever since upgrading to iOS on both my ipad 3 And using iOS six on my iPhone 5 I am encountering strange behavior with auto correction when using voice dictation.

Whenever I stop dictating and let Voice dictation start again or when the dictation buffer "Reaches its limit" and I get the beep and wait while it translates when I start doing voice dictation again the first letter of whatever I'm dictating always seems to be a capital letter.

My recollection of using voice dictation prior to upgrading in iOS is that there was a good awareness of where my cursor and inster point was in a sentence and it would capitalize appropriately. For example if I inserted the cursor into the middle of a sentence and tapped the Dictation button to insert additional dictated text into my sentence it would not always capitalize the first word of whatever was inserted - now it does.

I have searched around the forums and the web in general and haven't found any one encountering the same issue...

Am I alone? I tried playing with the "Auto capitalization" feature in the keyboard setting thinking that might have something to do with it but that didn't seem to work.

As you can see through this posting there are a number of strangely capitalized words as I was using the dictation feature.

It's really frustrating when I stop And start And stop And start again the dictation feature (like I just did three times per the capital A's) as I need to then go back through everything I've dictated and manually correct the road capital letters.

Anyone have any advice? I have Scanned through all of the preferences and other then auto capitalization in the keyboard settings didn't see much. I have also done the standard hard restart, et cetera. sort of things and still no luck.

Any experience or opinions appreciated!

I use dictation for words I have a tough time spelling. No Matter There Position In a Sentence The First Click Of Using Voice Control Capitalizes The Word. I just used it for that last sentence click the microphone between every word. Oddly enough "a" wasn't capital.

I find it very annoying since I use it mid sentence to spell words it somewhat useless since I can't take off the capital without retyping the word.

Actually I just figured it out lol.

Don't have a space between the words when you start using it again. It will automatically space and won't capatilize.

When resuming just first say 'no caps' then continue with your dictation. It won't capitalize the first word.
