Help: Bought an iphone underneath another name, inactive smartship

I got an iphone underneath my mom's name and it says she has an inactive smartship

How do i reactive this smartchip and can I just stick mine in the iphone?

Just put yours in the iPhone, and it should work since you are both on ATT...


Otherwise, go into a ATT CORE store and get another sim to replace the current deactivated one

Once the sim card is deactivated it can not be reactivated. Its a one time use thing.

How would she go about doing this? walk in and get a new simcard and put her contacts on an old one and stick it in her phone?
