My Mac mini restarted itself. Now I cannot login because neither my Logitech MX Master mouse or my Logitech MX Keys keyboard are recognised so I cannot do anything. It's as though Bluetooth is 'off'. Both were paired fine before the reboot. Help!
Thanks for following through. You probably saved me a lot of grief for when my MacMini finally arrives. I wonder when this BT issue on the M1 will be fixed? To bad we have to sacrifice a port just to get keyboards and mice to work!It does mean that I'm probably best off using the receiver now, rather than bluetooth.
Many thanks! I have paired my MX 3 Mac Mouse, and the MX Mac Keyboard with several devices. Is there a way to reset the mouse and keyboard’s three device pairing buttons? Also I assume I should delete my iPad from these two devices, and not use BT at all for the mouse and keyboard? It's very annoying. Just a tip. Don't pair your keyboard with 3 devices via bluetooth. As soon as you do that you cannot use the USB receiver anymore. You'd have to do what I did and 'reset' it via the software on another computer.
I use a USB 3.0 hub and the receiver works ok with that. But yes, I agree, annoying that you have to give up a port for something that should just work.
