I purchased a BenQ E2400HD yesterday and I've been very satisfied with it. It's 24", 1920x1080 has HDMI and built-in speakers. And it was only 239€. 22" model for 189€ is also available.

thanks, Mostly movies,gaming and internet
some design.. im not a big fan of matte displays btw

we dont have benq in the Us from what i know. but i know they are a good company. i used to live in europe.
I understand i will need to but a Dvi adapter and use the dvi cable to connect right?

the design of the monitor is important for me. acer also has 1080 hd, but i only want a 20" display. maybe 1440x900 isnt really good? i mean i have that on my 15"

Try to find 1680x1050 monitor. No BenQ in states? That's odd... I thought US has everything.

EDIT: Just Googled BenQ USA and at least they have a USA site. Maybe stores don't have BenQ

Spend the extra $50 for the better resolution, it's well worth it.

How about for $40 more you get the Samgsung T220HD, with TV tuner and alternate inputs. I love the thing, and it looks better than the HP.

TEG

Then maybe i should get the acer 20" with 1680x1050? thanks
btw im at the apple store getting the dvi adapter, $30!?? are you kidding me lol

Nooo...the HP 21.5" has way better resolution. The HP monitors have brilliant colors, and really pop out. Awesome for gaming and movies, and good for Word/Pages.

The Samsung T220 is also a pretty nice monitor but it's matte.

I need a quick answer guys please :p

It's cool that the Gateway has a few USB ports, but the HP displays really are stunning. Gateway was decent displays, but they don't really 'pop' at you. If you're gonna get a glossy display, get the HP.
