HELP: Buying an unlocked iPhone 3g on Craigslist an using it with T-Mobile..

So I'm buying a Unlocked iPhone 3g off of Craigslist. I will be using it with TMOBILE.

I have a few questions.

1.) Will I have to add another Data plan for T-Mobile? I currently don't have a Data Plan for my phone because it is not a smart phone. My brother has the Galaxy S and I believe he has a data plan, can I share the plan with him so I have internet on the iPhone.

2.) Also how do I transfer my contacts from my current phone to the iPhone also once I pop in the sim I should be able to text message and call people just fine right?

3.) I won't be charged any extra money from T-Mobile will I?
