Someone had already posted this link for a good deal on RAM, but I just wanted to make sure that this would work with my new 24" iMac 2.8GHz.

I would like to have 4GB of RAM to get the most out of CS4 when it arrives. Is this RAM compatible with my new iMac?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

That looks like the correct kit. Just FYI, I always purchase my RAM at ramjet.com. The guarantee that it will work in the Mac they advertise for even if Apple updates the firmware.

should work just remember the instore and online prices are usually different

$150 for 4GB for a MacBook?? Apple charges $180 for 4GB (with student discount)

Yeah the Ramjet prices are not good at all. I'd buy from Newegg, Crucial, or perhaps frys considering the deal they have right now. I bought my iMac 4GB from Newegg a while back.

i agree their prices are very high. I would recommend going with crucial, I have used them in the past and they ship fast and work great.

well after looking at it more closely, i'm realizing this RAM is 667MHz. i guess that's why they are selling it for cheaper. i'll probably end up buying OWC's 800MHz RAM. i'd rather pay the extra money and get the faster RAM.

Good idea. Yeah the latest iMacs have faster possible RAM than the other notebook RAM. OWC is reputable and that's a good price for the faster RAM.
