I have only a mac. No iAnything. How do I get Calendar alerts to show in Reminders and vice versa. Or are these two entirely separate applications?
 
Ah. I just bought Fantastical. It does what I need - i.e., lets me see calendar and reminders in one place. So Question resolved.
