I've been trying to upgrade from Panther to Leopard but when I hit the restart key it just defaults back to Panther. I should mention that I am booting from an external dvd writer that is connected via USB to an iMac G5 with 10.3.9. I also tried holding down the "C" key as it was restarting but that didn't work either. Then I tried selecting Leopard as my new starter disk in my system preferences and restarting again but it still defaulted back to Panther. It seems to always default back to Leopard. After restarting, I noticed that my Starter disk had Panther selected even though I had already changed it to Leopard. Any ideas?:(
