Help: Cannot install Leopard!!!

Hi all,

I received my upgrade CD this morning and clicked on the install filed. My computer was restarted and i had to choose a language as usual...when it get to the desktop it tells me it is checking for my previous HW...and i get the message "Leopard cannot be installed as no previous Mac OS was found" or something like that...

WTH is that? any solution?

I found the solution myself...so just sharing in case...
I needed to do a SW update check on tiger as it looks like it needed the latest updates to run the leopard upgrade.
