HELP: cannot make myself owner of a file, option greyed out

I'm trying to make myself the owner of the iMovie Projects folder, but the option (that pops up when you click on the gear icon) is greyed out. I've unlocked the little lock icon, which lets you make changes. I've given myself "Read and Write" permissions. I'm sure I'm the administrator. I just want to designate myself as the owner.

What do I do? Please help!
