about a year ago there was a website i was showing to my cousin it was really amazing
you could basically scale up and down the coast of california and if depending on whether you zoomed in or out you could see all these cool user generated photos of interesting or notable things in the area
it was NOT flickr map, but the concept was very similar. it was much more fleshed out than what flickr maps is offering
