All,

I am currently running Boot Camp 2.2. However, when I insert my Snow Leopard Disk to upgrade to 3.0, I get the following error:

"Boot Camp requires that your computer is running Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista."

I'm on Windows 8 (but I also received this error last week in Windows 7 prior to upgrading to Windows 8).

How do I fix this or upgrade to 4.0?

I had this problem when I was intalling Boot Camp 3.0 for the Windows 8 Developer Preview. I think the way I worked around it was copy the WindowSupport folder onto the desktop, located the setup.exe file, right click --> properties, selected the Compatibility tab and played around with the settings there. I can't remember what I applied but chances are it was run it under Windows XP or Windows Vista. Once you find the right settings, it should install fine.

Worked perfectly. Thank you!
