Help! Can't boot into boot camp!

My windows 7 partition is totally intact, it's on my desktop and VMWare still boots into it fine.

Holding option at startup does nothing and system preferences doesn't recognize it as a startup disk.

i haven't touched my partition recently, the only significant thing i've done is install 10.6.5.

I would check to make sure the partition is still bootable,

stick in your Windows 7 DVD, boot from it...

when it comes up click the repair your computer link and see if it fixes it.

Word of warning. Startup Repair can take a while (~30 minutes), but often fixed the underlying issue.
