Help. Can't connect to swscan

So I am currently on Public beta 4, and after updating to this version i have been unable to update anything from apple, and an error message has come up on the mac app store saying 'An Error Has Occurred Can't connect to the software update server (swscan.apple.com)'. I have reinstalled public beta 4, and still the problem persists. It means i cannot update to beta 5, or update iTunes. Is there any way to fix this. Thanks
