Okay so I tried downloading a remix of a song but can't remember if I fully downloaded the song. Anyways, I ended up trashing it but it hasn't gone away from my trashcan for weeks now.

It's a weird looking file name with weird characters in it and this concerns me if this could be a virus or not

If I try to hit "get info" it disappears from the trashcan, only to come back if I enter the trashcan again.

Help me please :(

No, you don't have a virus. They don't exist for Mac OS X. Hold the Option key while you empty your Trash.

Tried that, it didn't work.

I tried "Trash it!" but that didn't work either.

Do you have the installation DVD?

If so, boot from it, then go to Disc Utilities and repair the permissions and repair the hard drive.

Then reboot normally and see if you can empty the trash can.

I have had this same issue since yesterday. I tried everything I know and still could not delete it.
On closer look today it appear to be a bootcamp file. not sure how it got there, I hadn't used bootcamp in months.
