Help! Can't delete hidden files

Hi,

I've used terminal to make all my hidden files visible to delete one of those annoying .Trashes folder, but when I attempt to do so by using rm -r (filename), terminal says 'No such file or directory."

But i know it does exist because I have finder open in the other window, can see the folder, open the folder and view the contents.

It's also a pretty urgent problem so please please please, HELP! D:

sudo rm -rf ~/.Trash
