Help-Can't download

Hello I am a new user just bought a new MacBook Pro a couple weeks ago.

I am going abroad to study and i wanted to instal Skype so i could keep in touch with my family. But i seem to have run into a problem. When i go to the site to download

http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/macosx/post-download

it just loads and loads and when it loads fully nothing happens. I assume it should ask me to save a file or something but there is nothing. But when i go to a site like megaupload or file sonic it downloads without a problem.

I have Mac OSX 10.7.1 and Safari 5.1

If someone could help me i would be thankful

What do you mean nothing happens? It should load as a .dmg file and it will auto mount which then you will see the Skype app. The mounted disk should be on your desktop as Skype

I mean the download doesn't start. The dmg file just doesn't load

If it doesn't load automatically, try clicking the link they provide on the page. Alternatively, you can download Skype from Cnet Download site.
