My model is the unibody 8,3 Late 2011, and my battery holds a charge for about an hour, which is USELESS! I have tried the one mac sells {which they are convinced will work} and they are totally different sizes, so I know thats not the case. I have scoured the net as well- any ideas??

Thanks!

Your nearby, local, Apple Store should be able to get you the right one. Have you stopped in there to check?

Yep...and even bought the one they recommend, and it's totally the incorrect size. After chatting with apple support I have learned they don't make a battery for that, that I needed to find a third party option. To give you a description, the one in my MPB is about 8x3", the one Mac sells is 5x4" - if I could move the mother board it may fit, lol!
