I had previously installed Apple's remote desktop 3 on both my g5 and my macbook. It had been screwing up and I had some internet issues that caused it to no longer connect so I decided to remove it and reinstall. When I did this upon opening the app it gives me an error. I looked in the administrator's guide and the instructions to uninstall require doing some stuff in terminal. This is uncharted waters for me so if anyone can help me get through the terminal uninstall I'd really appreciate it. I mostly need help with how to type and execute the commands listed in the administrator's guide.

Thank you in advance,
Craig

I started to type the commands in terminal but it warns me of deleting system files and prompts me to enter my password. Is this my main password? when I try to type however none of my letters show up. How do I enter the password?
