I installed the drivers onto a flash drive in Osx before installing windows 7. But windows 7 doesn't recognize fat32 and says it needs to format the drive. How can I install the boot camp assistant on windows 7?

Edit: idea worked, I panicked for nothing. I don't know how to lock this though...

I have an idea: can I wait to install the support software? Can I boot back into lion, download the software to a proper format, and boot into win 7 to install it?

Hmm, I've got FAT32 formatted USB flash drive and have reading and writing files to/from Windows 7 all day.

Really? I couldn't get fat32 or exfat to work. I had to use fat. I probably was using some type of Mac only fat32 format. I was in a rush to install windows so I didn't spend much time in the disk utility
