I was on the Apple site trying to order 2 iPhone 5s. After I added the 2nd phone, this message was at the top of the screen in red....

'Only one carrier-activated iPhone can be ordered at a time. Please make sure only one carrier-activated iPhone is in your Cart. Your Cart may contain multiple unlocked iPhones.'

What does that mean? I put in each number separately. I have 2 lines with AT&T and I am getting 2 new iPhones

Do I have to place 2 separate orders??

Check your "Cart" it has multiple iPhones in it and they will have the same phone number so you need to empty your "Cart" and start over.

You have to checkout one iPhone line at a time with Apple.

Ok, thanks. I thought I was doing something wrong. That doesn't make sense since they ask you for the cell number before going to the next step

I ordered mine first with 2 each of the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter and the Lightning to USB Cable. Then I ordered just the phone for my Mom. I got 2 confirmation emails right away, so I think I'm good to go :D
