Help...cant type in passwords

ok so i just tried typing in my password for mail and other apps that require me to log in
i cant
like it only has space for 1 character to be typed.
so everytime my password is typed it is just replaced with the next character
my phone is unlocked 3g at 3.1.2 with blackra1n

umm
is there anything i can do without restoring to fix this?

i'm talking about like
i type in the first character
then when i go to type in the next character
that replaces the first character i typed in

like it only keeps one character of my password
it wont let me type in my full password
