I have a jb ip4 (jailbreakme) 4.0.1
im using winterboard and the same theme i have always used on my iphones. My problem is i cant seem to change the lock screen (i used to be able to on my 3g, and 3gs)

I have tried the usual thing on winterboard like ticking the 'user screenlock' and moving it to the top so it over rides the theme, but still cant get it to work.

can anyone please help, or am i stuck with the theme lock screen?

many thanks

LOL i have tried that many times, and have tried changing the settings in winterboard but still no luck

Wel i would make sure that the picture you want is selcted for LockScreen under settings>wallpaper... then go through any other active themes and check there are no conflicting LockScreen images.
(and turn UserScreenLock off)

I see some one mentioned UserScreenLock .... but User Lock Background - Selecting this option will override any lock screen background installed by a WinterBoard theme with the wallpaper image selected in iPhone Settings.

Have you enabled this?

Yup tried that too, just cant seem to be able to have my own lockscreen background, have tried just about everything!

Managed to sort it out, had to ssh into the phone and delete the theme lockscreen.
