Here's the story, i got my iPhone 4 a while back and im using my 3G as a iPod now.
I was trying to see if it is possible to take away or change the "No Service" Banner in the top left corner?
I've tried using Make It Mine but it wont work.
Any help would be great! Thank you.

I've tried using Make It Mine, so my iPhone has to be jailbroken? Haha, i jailbroke it after buying it, anyway i didn't think about airplane mode.

Anyone have a clue? I was thinking i might be able to ssh and delete it, but i have no clue where it would be.

I suggest leaving the 3G in Airplane Mode to keep it from killing its battery. If you want WiFi on just turn it on after turning Airplane Mode on.

Makeitmine changes the carrier name displayed not the no service message.

Exactly.
