Recently divorced (ie no extra $) dad that was given an Imac to use as a desktop. I am looking for a decent checkbook program that does a couple things. I need it to update from the bank's website and recognize checks that I have manually entered. For example if I have $1000 dollars and write a check for $400 when it updates it will recognize that check when it clears instead of entering it again. There other thing would be to keep track of multiple accounts. Really appreciate any help!!:apple:

Check out mint.com. It works with a lot of banks. I'm not sure about recognizing manually entered checks when they clear, but it does handle multiple accounts and a few other nice things.
