Help choosing a good plotter

Dear Fellow Rumorers,
I would like to have some advice as I have to buy a plotter pretty soon. I would need one that prints 42", it will be mainly used for printing scientific posters for conferences etc. - i.e. lots of graphs, text and pictures. Any thought would be really appreciated!

PS: a mac friendly one would be preferred
