Help cloning windows off 1 computer to USB thumb drive

Hopefully someone can help me with this...

I have a work Mac that has an XP image (via Parallels 5) that I want to clone and put on a USB drive so I can run that Virtualization on my new Mac Air (that has Parallels 6 on it).

Is this possible? The image I'm trying to copy has all the correct permissions, etc... so I just want to be able to plug in a USB drive, fire up that Windows XP image and be able to use my new Air on our network.

The USB stick might be to slow in read and write speeds (10 - 20 MB/s read, 5 to 10 MB/s write) to actually run the copied VM from. Just copy the VM from iMac / Users / YOU / Documents / Parallels to the same path on your MBA.
