Please help. Last week my pc went down and I lost everything. Now I'm up and running again and I've reinstalled itunes. Problem is, itunes now wants to sync and replace everything on iphone saying that i will lose everything that is not in itunes(which is everything, calender entries, apps, contacts etc).
Is there a way to backup my iphone as it is now so I can sync again and keep everything as it is on my iphone?
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately no, the iPhone can only be synced with one computer. Since it sees this computer as a new one, it was to erase it all. This is why you back up kiddies.

You can use sharepod or airshare or one of the other programs to get what you can off your iPhone first, before you sync with itunes and set as a new phone. So, all is not lost. The lesson learned is make backups from now on though.

Sorry to be a pain...

...but can I backup my iphone somehow using winscp and ssh and then put it all back on after a sync?
