help connecting this wireless mic

hello i was at the game store today and traded my old ps1 for this mic http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Microphone/dp/B002EWD09A because i was hoping to sync it up with my macbook and use it for recording

i tried placing it in discover mode but my macbook is not finding it. i really didnt think it would just be that easy anyways but i cant seem to find any info anywhere on if its possible or how its done

im not even sure if its bluetooth or what i mostly just wanted to get rid of the ps1 XD

so i know you are the guys to ask this sort of stuff and i hope you can help me out!

If you want to use it, the only way is to buy an xbox.
