iPod Help. Copy from IPOD to new Computer?

My old computer crashed. I want to transfer my music from my IPOD to my new computer. Everything I try it tells me it will erase what is currently on my IPOD. I talked with Apple and a guy there said it is possible to transfer but because of some liability reason he could not tell me how to do it. Does anyone know how?

Try a program called Senuti, as long as you're using a Mac.

I used a program called iPod Access, which worked perfectly. It's not free ($20). The Terminal method shoud work though if you know what you're doing.

I would have used this to save my $20 had I known about it.
